1300 Muslims die in yearly Hajj pilgrimage

At least 1300 people were reported to have died from heat-related illness and exhaustion during the annual Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca. All Muslims who are able must undertake this journey at least once in their lifetime, which is one of the five pillars of Islam. Nearly 1.8 million Muslims from all over the world participated in this year’s pilgrimage.

Let’s Pray:

Father Lord, we pray for your mercies and grace in the families of the deceased. We ask that Muslims all over the world will come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world and Yahweh.

“Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.”

John 8:58
