Strength for the journey ahead

Whatever you have done in the past, God is such a compassionate and merciful Father. He is willing not only to forgive our sins but also to forget them as long as we repent from our ways and come to our Heavenly Father. He would open His arms wide to welcome you back. Would you like to come home? He is waiting.

Let’s Pray:

As you embark on your journey today may the angel of the Lord feed you and strengthen you, and may the right hand of God protect you on every side. Your going out shall be as blessed as the morning star and your coming back as refreshing as the dew of heaven. Behold, like a rose, the Lord will present to you a precious gift that you cannot refuse. The Lord shall prepare a table before you with new wine, as this journey will be a great pleasure for you and shall glorify the Lord Almighty. The Lord will direct your steps, always. In Jesus’ mighty name! Amen.

“The angel of the Lord came back a second time and touched him and said, “Get up and eat, for the journey is too much for you.” So he got up and ate and drank. Strengthened by that food, he traveled forty days and forty nights until he reached Horeb, the mountain of God.”
