Massive flash flooding in Nepal’s capital city, Kathmandu, over the weekend has left 200 people dead, with 30 more still missing. Nepal, which is in its monsoon season, has had the heaviest rainfalls in two decades. This has caused the overflow of rivers and subsequent collapse of many bridges in this region.

Father Lord, we ask for Your protection and mercies upon Nepal and its people. We pray that You would save the people from the fury of nature through your grace and favor. We ask that the people of this nation would find comfort in the love of Jesus Christ in this difficult time. Amen.
