70 die in Iranian port blast

At least 70 people have died in a blast at the Bandar Abbas port in southern Iran and more than 1000 people are injured. The blast which is said to have affected 3700 acres (1500 hectares) in the area around the port warehouse, damaging glass windows in houses and cars in a much larger radius. Negligence in handling sodium perchlorate – a chemical widely used in jet fuels and ballistic missiles is said to have been the reason for the blast. The ship transporting the chemical is said to have originated from China and was neither formally declared or handled as hazardous goods, as this would raise flags with the international community. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard have denied this claim completely.

Let’s Pray:

Father God, we ask for the peace of God to rest in the hearts of those grieving due to this tragedy. We pray for the healing of the sick in the name of Jesus Christ and by Your stripes. We pray for a revelation in the hearts of the Iranian’s on the One true God of this world. In Jesus’ most glorified name, Amen.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
