It is election day in the United States today, with the nation voting to elect the 47th President of the nation. With already more than 82 million votes cast before today, through mail in ballots, many others who haven’t voted go to the polling stations today. The race between the two candidates, Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, has been reported to be neck and neck till now.
Let’s Pray:
Father, we pray for America and her future. We ask for Your perfect will to manifest through this election. We pray for preservation of peace during voting today and in the aftermath. We pray against every corruption and fraud in every stage of the electoral process. We pray that the light of Your truth, justice and Glory would shine brighter through whom You would allow to lead this nation forward. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
1 First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. 3 This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
