Wonderful Counselor, Lord of lords,
I worship You, for who You are,
Yesterday, today, and forevermore.Though the lion awaits me in the day time,
in this, I will be confident:
My God is my shield and my protector,
I shall not be afraid of what evil men want to do to me.
Even the mighty ones seek the Lord’s face for help,
and they are not confused.God has turned His marvelous face toward me, and has favored me.
Because of this, I am blessed everywhere I go.
The horn of the Lord is my fortune and fortress,
and His righteousness goodness
Makes me prosper evermore.
He fills my cup with new wine and
I overflow in His great abundance.Faithful God, not in my bow nor my arrow shall I trust,
but in You, will I put my faith and hope forever.

Confidence in my God
