Drug-related kidnapping in Mexico

A drug cartel in Mexico kidnapped 11 people, including 4 children aged between 18 months and 14 years, as well as 3 policemen. This incident was suspected to be linked with a previous clash between local farmers and the drug cartel on December 28, in which 4 people died.

Let’s Pray:

Lord, we ask for Your mercy for Mexico. You see the problem with drug cartels in that country. You see how the people are tired of it, to the point of using violence to solve the problem. Father, we pray for Your compassion and grace to surround this nation, that You would deliver the people from drug addiction, drug trafficking, and violence, in Jesus’ name. We pray for Your love and peace to reign in this nation. We know that You love these people and you want to set them free. In Your name we pray. Amen.

“This is what the Lord says: Do what is just and right. Rescue from the hand of the oppressor the one who has been robbed. Do no wrong or violence to the foreigner, the fatherless or the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭22‬:‭3
