French government collapses

After a no-confidence vote in the French Parliament passed with overwhelming majority, the French Prime Minister, Michel Barnier is forced to tender his resignation immediately. This is attributed to a budget that was pushed through by the Prime Minister without any vote of the Parliament, using his special powers. This comes just 3 months after his appointment to this position and the first time in 60 years that a French Government has been voted down in this manner.

Father Lord, in the midst of such confusion and chaos around the world and in France at this hour. We ask for Your mercies and grace to sustain this nation from falling into further turmoil and unrest. We ask that the next Prime Minister of this nation be appointed in accordance with Your perfect will. In Jesus name, Amen.
