Lord Jesus, we bring before You this critical hour in the war involving Iran, the United States, Israel, and many nations affected by the Strait of Hormuz crisis. You see every civilian caught between missiles, sanctions, and political calculations—families in Iran, Lebanon, the Gulf, and far beyond who are bearing the cost of decisions made in distant rooms—have mercy on them, O God. Stretch out Your hand to restrain further attacks by air, sea, and land; silence the voices that call for domination and revenge, and raise up leaders who truly seek a just and lasting peace instead of a temporary pause. As proposals and counterproposals are exchanged, breathe Your wisdom, humility, and fear of the Lord into presidents, generals, and negotiators on every side, that they would value human life above pride, power, or oil. Protect shipping lanes and supply chains so that food, fuel, and medicine can reach vulnerable populations across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia who are already living on the edge. Strengthen Your church in the region to stand as peacemakers and intercessors, to care for the displaced and the fearful, and to proclaim the hope of the gospel in the midst of blackouts, shortages, and air raid sirens. Let this moment of global tension become a doorway for repentance and the revelation of Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, to leaders and peoples alike. In Your mighty name we pray, Amen.
