Jesus, the Empathizing High Priest

Sometimes, we are anxious to know when our suffering will end or when our prayers will be answered. You know what? All times and seasons are under Father’s authority. He knows the best time to give what’s best for you. So even if it is difficult, would you like to wait anyway? Ask Him to give you the patience and faith to wait. He will be with you.

Let’s Pray:

O God of heaven, You alone can show us true empathy, for You understand all of our pains, the human circumstances and the situation a lot of people are going through today. Your only begotten Son has suffered and experienced the greatest pain on earth, and among the living, He was treated like an outcast. Father, for the sake of Your love for the world, Christ was rejected, distressed, troubled and gave up His life for us. Lord, relieve us from our pains and save us from trouble. Amen.

“Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭14‬-‭16
