If carrying my cross daily
leads me to prison and persecution,
So be it.
If following you will be the death of me,
So be it.
Because I am not afraid of what men can do unto me,
you encircle me with Your angels and deliver me from all evil.If confessing my faith
brings me strife and grief,
or glory and honor,
I will not hold back
for I know that You are always with me,
You will never forsake nor put me to shame.The rock which the builders had rejected
has now become the chief cornerstone,
You are the Rock of ages,
that will stand firm forevermore.
O God, in Your strength, I am forever comforted. Amen.
So be it
