More than 100 die in latest attack in Sudan

As the civil war, between Sudan’s army and Rapid Support Forces (RSF), raged on since April 2023. More than a 100 people, almost all civilians, died in the latest air strike of a civilian market in the country’s western region – Darfur. The war has displaced more than 12 million Sudanese from their homes and killed more than an estimated 150,000 people, in the nearly 2 years since it erupted. Reports of Islamic-inspired ethnic cleansing and mass massacre of innocent civilians by both sides is an uncommon occurrence through the war.

Let’s Pray:

Father Lord, we pray and ask for the consolation and comfort of those grieving lost loved ones in this attack. We pray for the recovery and healing of all the injured. We ask Lord, that You would step in and peace would prevail in this war-torn nation of Sudan. We ask that every unseen force and rulers of darkness behind this war be completely vanquished in Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness did not comprehend it.

John 1:5
