More than 60 die in fiery accident in Turkey

At least 66 people so far have been reported to have died in an early morning blaze in a ski-resort in Bolu, Turkey. The fire is reported to have started on the 4th storey restaurant of the 12-storey Grand Kartal Hotel, where in the ski-season was at full occupancy. Snow and poor accessibility to the location brought the fire-engines an hour after the reported fire and took them 12 hours to fully put-out the fires. Many people had to resort to using tied linen sheets to escape through the windows of the hotel.

Let’s Pray:

Father, we pray for peace in the hearts and comfort for the souls of the ones affected by this tragedy in Turkey. We ask You Lord for the quick healing and recovery of those injured and admitted to the hospitals. We pray that every Turk will come to the saving knowledge and light of Your salvation, in Jesus name. Amen.

I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.

Psalm 121:1-2
