Power and might

The Lord will uphold me with His strength
and uplift me with His mighty power
He covers me with His shield
and commands His angels to watch over my every step
As I put on the Armor of God, I will soar high like the eagle
I will run and not faint,
I will rise and not fall,
I will walk in my calling and not be weary.

Consume me with Your fire, O Lord, my God
And refine me, like precious gold.
I will not despise Your correction, nor run away from Your rebuke,
For I know that the Father corrects the son He loves.
It is in my distress that my soul finds rest in my Lord,
And even in weakness, I shall be made strong,
for the Lord my Rock shall be my strength forever.

It is with the strength of God,
that Samson conquered a thousand men
That David defeated Goliath
and that Daniel prevailed over the lions
Therefore, I believe that the same power and might are mine,
I shall not be shaken, nor will I be broken
I will humble myself before the Lord, and stand firm forever.
