God calls you His son/daughter because He cares deeply for you. You are as precious as a child to Him, and He sees you as a legitimate and valuable member of His family. He enjoys your presence and wants to discuss family matters with you. Talk to Him in prayer now.

Heavenly Father, my heart is weighed down by burdens too many for me to speak. I give You my troubled heart today, for Your word says Your yoke is easy, and Your burdens are light. Abba Father, instead of my own burdens, I pray that You would rend my heart for what breaks Yours. Let me walk in Your spirit, kindness, and gentleness. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
