The Five Ways to Prioritize God

1- To please people, first please God.

“For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.” — Galatians 1:10

2- To love others, first love God.

“We love Him because He first loved us… And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.” — 1 John 4:19, 21

3- To honor others, first honor God.

“Therefore the Lord God of Israel says… ‘those who honor Me I will honor, and those who despise Me shall be lightly esteemed.’” — 1 Samuel 2:30

4- To give to others, first give to God.

“Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty…” — Proverbs 3:9-10

5- To obey man, first obey God.

“But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: ‘We ought to obey God rather than men.’” — Acts 5:29

‘’Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.’’

‭‭1 Corinthians 10:31
