The Sovereignty of God

Refine me with Your purifying fire so that when I face the furnace,

I remain unscathed. Mold me into a being of steel, an iron rod

that stands strong and unyielding. Build me like a rock,

steadfast and unshaken, moved only by Your word and power.

Shape me into a mighty wind that cannot be swept away

and only ceases at Your command. Transform me into an ocean

that withstands the fiercest storm, overflowing and rising against every challenge.

Make me like lightning, unmarked by thunder.

In this way, even if my enemies tried me, I will not crumble.

Craft me into an eagle that soars with unwavering strength, never weakened.

Form me in the likeness of a lion, fearless yet brave, reflecting Your image,

Almighty God, the consuming fire, El Shaddai, and the Lion of Judah.

El-Elyon, highest praise for Your greatness.

Everlasting Father, everlasting Son, and immortal Holy Spirit, be exalted. Amen
