The Way

By focusing on The Way, you are moving from a religion of “rules” to a relationship of “rhythm.” Jesus didn’t just give us directions; He gave us Himself. If you feel like you are in a “wasteland” (a season of stagnation or loss), remember that Jesus doesn’t just show the way; He is the Way. Even if you can’t see the road, trust Him. To follow the Way is to follow Jesus. When the road is narrow, or the wilderness is vast, the goal is not to “find the path,” but to stay close to the One who is the Way, Jesus Christ our salvation.

Let’s Pray

Lord Jesus, I acknowledge You today as the Way—the only path that leads to the Father and salvation. Your ways are right, and Your direction is perfect. I surrender my own ways to follow Your lead, trusting that You have already gone before me to prepare the ground. As You made a way for the Israelites in the wilderness, I believe You are doing a new thing, making a way in my wilderness and streams in my wasteland. Where there seems to be no path, Lord, build a bridge. Where there is a barrier, make a door. Lead me through the greener pastures and keep my feet from the thorns of the wicked. I want to be where You are, going only where Your spirit leads me.  I place my faith in You, O Lord. Let Your Word be a lamp to my feet and a light to my path, keeping me from the shadows of darkness. Send forth Your angels to watch over every step I take today. Lead me along the highway of righteousness, and bless both my coming in and my going out. May Your presence clear away every danger and prosper the journey of my soul. I stand on Your promise that You will expand my territory and guide me into my divine purpose. Shine Your light on my path so I may see Your goodness in the land of the living. Surround me with favor as a shield, and let every step I take bring glory to Your name—today and forever. In the mighty and sovereign name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
