A Psalm of Declarative Power

I
There is power, undeniable and true, dwelling within the Word of the Lord;
A power potent and unstoppable, flowing in the Blood of the Lamb.
There is power, mighty and unwavering, etched into the Name of the Lord;
A strength formidable and unshakeable, found in the breath of His decree.
II
Sovereign and enduring is the Blood that was shed for our sake;
Absolute and everlasting is the Name that stands above all names.
Let Your glorious power descend now with divine authority,
And let the Spirit of Glory break forth boldly upon Your people.
III
Jesus, You are the Bread of Life, descending from the Father’s hand;
You are the Breath of the Word, the very Truth made manifest in flesh.
He who was the High and Lofty One emptied Himself of all,
Becoming as nothing, that He might die to make us whole.
IV
Praise be to the Name that shakes the heavens and the earth!
Praise be to the Blood that speaks better things than the blood of Abel!
Praise be to Jesus, the Word, the Life, and the Power forever!
Amen.

There are three things the enemy cannot withstand: the Word, the Blood, and the name of Jesus.

This Psalm is a declaration of that “formidable and unshakeable” authority we carry as believers. We serve a Savior who was everything, yet chose to become nothing so that we could be brought back to the Father. When you feel weak, remember that you carry the “absolute and everlasting” power of Jesus within you.

Let His Spirit of glory pour out boldly upon you today!
