“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place. For now, I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever; and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.”
II Chronicles 7: 14
All nations are saved thanks to God’s mercy over us and the church that prays and intercedes before the Savior’s throne, at the feet of our gracious Lord Jesus Christ. The church has been the light of the world and the salt of the earth ever since its creation by the Holy Spirit. Thus, through the prayers of righteous intercessors in the church, people are healed, nations are delivered, and multitudes are saved. Let’s thank God for the church that always stands in the gap, on behalf of nations.
Let’s pray:
Lord, despite the gates of hell, You hold the church in Your right hand and declare that it will not be overcome. You are the God of our nations, and all people behold the countenance of Your grace and mercy. Thank you, Lord, for You have established the church upon the Solid Rock: Thyself. In the name of Jesus Christ, the church never ceases to pray and intercede for the salvation of many nations, and the remission of sins for all citizens of every nation on earth. Sovereign Lord, You are tender and merciful. As the church continues to lift unto You their petitions and the burden of Your people daily, You remain faithful to hear and answer from heaven. Thank You for the opportunity to work with You, Jesus, our Savior, and our Lord, and take up this task of interceding for nations. Amen.
