Day 29: Healing and Good Health

“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”

Isaiah 53:5

The Lord is worthy of praise and thanksgiving regardless of our health. For He is our Creator and our Healer! When we are ill, we can turn to Him for healing and comfort, and when we are healthy, we know that it is because of Him, since every good and perfect gift (including good health) comes from Him.

Let’s pray:
Faithful Lord, our God who opened the eyes of the blind, we believe that by Your stripes we are healed. People from every nation and generation stand in awe of Your miraculous power because of the great sacrifice You offered on the cross, and the many miracles You have performed, and we have witnessed. We thank You, Jehovah Rapha our healer, for keeping us and our children in good health and nourishing our bodies, renewing our minds, and refreshing our souls daily. Lord, we are forever grateful to You for bearing our pains, binding the wounds of the brokenhearted, comforting the souls of those that mourn and strengthening the weak. We glorify the name of Jehovah God for healing all our diseases and taking away our sorrow and grief. Christ Jesus, whether in good or bad health, please help us to be living testimonies of Your sustenance, peace, and comfort. Thank you, Lord, for always visiting us when we are ill and ensuring our wellbeing. Thank You for Your unfailing love evermore. Amen.
