“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the Lord upholds him with His hand. I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread. He is ever merciful and lends; And his descendants are blessed.”
Psalm 37: 23-26
Let us thank God for always providing us with what we need, not what we want. Let us also thank Him for His faithfulness in doing so; for not a day passes by without Him giving us our daily bread. In abundance or in need, the Lord is always good to us. Rejoice, for The Lord is your provider, you shall not want!
Let’s pray:
Father, You are our good, good heavenly Father. Like babies, You have satisfied us and filled our mouths with good things, and whenever we are in a struggle You lay Your right hand on our shoulders to let us know that it is well and You are with us. You have cared for us and love us so much more than we ever ask for or comprehend. We stand before Your throne with hearts full of gratitude, for supplying us with our daily bread and blessing us with Your presence. Thank You for sending Your angels whenever we needed help, and for always providing for us according to Your great riches in Christ Jesus. Jehovah Jireh, by You, we have been blessed spiritually, physically, and financially. We are truly sorry, Lord, if we have not been grateful enough and content with the blessings You have poured out on us; please pardon us. We are grateful, O Lord, for in You we lack no good thing. Amen.
