Gaza: Ongoing Humanitarian Crisis Amid Continued Conflict and Winter Hardship

Despite a ceasefire agreement, Gaza continues to face devastating humanitarian challenges as winter conditions intensify suffering. Israeli airstrikes, shelling, and gunfire persist, killing and injuring Palestinians daily. The UN reports that aid access remains severely restricted, with many humanitarian missions denied or only partially completed. Over 70,000 Palestinians have died since October 2023, with an additional 400 killed since the ceasefire began. Health facilities are largely non-operational, and the population faces acute shortages of food, water, shelter, and medical care. Aid agencies continue operations despite harsh conditions and mounting access constraints.

Let’s Pray:

Compassionate Father, God of All Nations, we come before Your throne with heavy hearts, weeping for the people of Gaza who have endured over two years of devastating conflict. We lift up the families who have lost loved ones, the children who know only fear and hunger, and all those suffering in this broken land. As winter intensifies their hardship, we ask for Your merciful intervention.

Lord, we intercede for:

● The bereaved families: Comfort those who grieve the loss of over 70,000 lives, and cradle their broken hearts with Your love.

● The children of Gaza: Protect them, feed them, and give them hope for a future of peace and normalcy.

● The injured and sick: Grant healing to the wounded and provide access to medical care for those suffering without help.

● Humanitarian workers: Strengthen those courageously bringing aid amid restrictions and danger; grant them safe passage and resources.

● A lasting ceasefire: Transform the fragile ceasefire into lasting peace; soften hearts toward reconciliation and healing.

● The vulnerable: Shield the poorest, the orphaned, and the widowed from further harm.

May Your justice roll down like waters, and may Gaza know restoration, reconstruction, and peace. Amen.at those who can be saved may be saved. We entrust these nations and their people into Your hands, believing in Your power to redeem and restore.InJesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
