Psalm of the Divine Acceleration 

I
As Elijah outran the chariots of Ahab,
And as a mother carries her child upon her back,
So carry me, O Lord, that I may run swiftly with You,
And soar upon Your wings like eagles far above the heavens.

II
Let it be done unto Your servant according to Your word:
For what no eye has seen, what no ear has heard,
And no human mind has conceived
The glorious things You have prepared for those who love You.

III
As in the abundant season of the barley harvest,
Let my barns increase, and my vessels overflow with new oil.
For the Lord declares: “Behold, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs forth; I will make a way in the wilderness.”

IV
He makes His faithful ride upon the heights of the earth,
Feeding them with the harvest of the fields,
Nourishing them with honey from the rock,
And with oil from the flinty crag.

V
He commands the sun to rise at dawn and the moon to shine at twilight;
His glory rests upon all those who diligently seek His face.
You are the Father to our ancestors and the Lord over kings,
As all creation shall praise Your holy name forevermore.
Let Your kingdom rule in our hearts, and Your spirit dwells within us.
Amen.
